Yale and Michigan travel to Southern California

The Pacific Coast Shootout seems to be a showcase of National Champions. 

The Yale Bulldogs, the 2018 Division I National Champion, and the 2019 runner-up, will meet the Michigan Wolverines in the seventh annual Pacific Coast Shootout. This Ivy League - Big Ten match-up is slated for 7:00 PM on Saturday, March 7 at LeBard Stadium on the campus of Orange Coast College.

The Shootout is no stranger to National Champions and has hosted the past five. Denver (2015 National Champion) played here in 2014 and 2019. North Carolina (2016 National Champion) played in the 2015 and 2018 Shootout. Maryland (2017 National Champion) has made three trips to the Shootout in 2015, 2016 and 2018. Yale (2018 National Champion) makes its first appearance in the Shootout this week. Virginia (2019 National Champion) played in the 2017 Shootout. Cornell, who lost to Virginia 19-18 in OT in the 2017 Shootout is also a former National Champion (1971, 1976 and 1977).
